And brownies. And cupcakes. And various other baked goods.
I am oh-so-tired from baking all night. Seriously. I baked ALL NIGHT LONG.
I started at 9, after finishing my homework.
It is now almost one-thirty and I’m not done.
Jaysus.
My feet hurt, my arms and shoulders hurt, my head hurts, my finger hurts from where I burned it. Deep down, I know it’s worth it. Everything’s worth it. All the little tiny sacrifices we make throughout the day, be it giving someone directions and taking a little longer to get somewhere, or spending a week of free time organizing a charity event… It’s all worth it.
Just have to keep remembering that.
Thursday was an okay day. The bit with the NOT BEING ALLOWED TO GET THE BATTER was rather irritating. Music, CAN FINALLY MAINTAIN UPPER OCTAVE FOR GOOD DEAL OF TIME. BAPBAP. (Shush.) Bio was nondescript, left feeling stupid as usual. Talked to Ms. Houghton during break. Anthro was Ghost with Jahmal and winning the bet and POCKY…
“Why are you taking like, five?”
“BECAUSE IT’S GOOD.”
Spare was looking for music with Louis and then FIRE DRILL WTF. SO COLD. T-SHIRT. I THINK I HAVE DISEASES FROM BEING SO COLD.
After school was nuts.
Appy polly loggies to the girl I yelled at for getting caught on my backpack. Half day. Spent my time going about procuring ingredients for the darn bake sale. BECAUSE WE WEREN’T ALLOWED TO GO AND GET THE BATTER. Dmph dmph. (noise of annoyance)
Dance class was… um… unleashing my inner cowgirl. (In case you didn’t know, my class is doing a routine to Jessica Simpson’s cover of “These Boots Were Made For Walkin’”. We have hats.
Came home, did homework, baked.
Am now utterly exhausted and sore in the shoulders and going to bed.
